Continuous Enrollment
Last year, nearly 90% of all eligible King’s Way families returned to school for the current year. Continuous enrollment simply means that a seat is reserved for your child through graduation. Once your continuous enrollment contract has been signed and submitted, you will never have to go through the re-enrollment process again. Your continuous enrollment contract renews automatically each year until your child graduates, or if necessary, until you choose to opt out. More FAQ’s can be found here.

Continuous Enrollment FAQs
- What is Continuous Enrollment?
Continuous Enrollment (CE) is a process in which a student’s enrollment is automatically renewed each year with a small deposit or “down payment” on each child’s tuition for the following school year. This continuous enrollment deposit will not only reserve your child’s place in class for the next year, it will also assist KWCS administration in effectively planning for staffing and curriculum. Traditionally, King’s Way has been unable to solidify staffing, programs, materials, or curriculum until families sign and submit their re-enrollment contracts. We take the stewardship of tuition dollars entrusted to us every year very seriously. We want to invest these tuition dollars wisely so that we can provide the best education possible for our students. - Why Continuous Enrollment?
Continuous Enrollment (CE) not only simplifies your life, it allows KW to better fulfill our purpose and mission in the lives of our students. You will no longer have to opt-in for re-enrollment; rather re-enrollment will now be an opt-out process. In other words, once you sign your one-time Continuous Enrollment Agreement, you will never have to worry about it again. - Is there a Continuous Enrollment payment collected?
Yes. Each February, a Continuous Enrollment Deposit (CED) will be applied annually to your Tuition Management account. This amount is subtracted from your child’s total yearly tuition. If you opt out after the deposit payment has been drawn, it will not be refunded, and is not transferable. - What if we’re not sure what we’re doing the following year?
Each year, parents will have an opt-out period between January 1 and January 31. If you decide that your child will not be returning for the following school year, you will simply locate the email or Alma post with the link to complete the opt out contract, indicating your child’s intent to not return prior to the January 31st deadline. You will not be charged the CED. If you opt out after your CED payment has been drawn, it will not be refunded, and is not transferable. If you choose to opt-out in January and later decide you would like to re-enroll your student anytime after February 1, placement will depend on space availability and you will be charged the enrollment deposit plus a late enrollment fee of $500 per elementary and middle school student, and $750 per high school student. - How do families benefit from Continuous Enrollment?
We have created a simple and efficient process for our families that saves you time. In addition, with increasing enrollment, we anticipate our classrooms being near waitlists for some of our grades; by opting into CE, you’ll have a seat reserved for your child until graduation.

Enrollment Policy
- Students will be continuously enrolled through the completion of 12th grade or if necessary, until the student’s parent has given notice of their intention to not renew during the January opt-out period. The Continuous Enrollment Agreement is contingent upon the student completing the present school year in good standing.
- A non-refundable/non-transferrable Continuous Enrollment Deposit (CED) is applied to each student’s Tuition Management Account annually, in February, after the opt out season, or upon submission of a New Student Contract.
- A student will not be permitted to begin a new school year until all existing financial obligations have been satisfied. If a student’s account is not financially current during the continuous enrollment period for the following school year, they will not be able to re-enroll until the balance is brought current. If tuition, fees, and/or lunch accounts for the current year are delinquent any time after June 1 without an existing payment plan in place, the CE deposit will be forfeited as well as the student(s) place on the class roster for the upcoming school year. Official transcripts will also be held and not transferred until the account is brought current.
- The first month’s tuition payment is due in July. All tuition payments for the new school year begin in July. If the first payment is not received in July, the student(s) application will be canceled and their position on the class roster, as well as the CE deposit, will be forfeited.
- Tuition payment due dates: See tuition chart above for payment options. All families must have automatic payments enabled on their Tuition Management account. A $25 fee will be charged for all returned payments, and a $40.00 late fee will be assessed on all accounts not paid within 10 days of the selected due date. Please see below for our current tuition and below for current Collection policy.
- KWCS’ duties and obligations under this Agreement may be suspended indefinitely without notice during all periods in which the School is closed due to any force majeure events, including but not limited to, any earthquake, fire, flooding, act of God, war, governmental action, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, state of emergency, or any other event beyond the School’s control. KWCS has developed a contingency instruction plan to deliver remote instruction as soon as is reasonably practicable and safe under the circumstances. If such a force majeure event occurs, the Schools’ duties and obligations in this Agreement may be postponed for a period of time until KWCS can deliver its contingency course instruction or until such time as the School, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen. In the event KWCS is closed for a period of time or must deliver course work remotely due to an event under this clause, the Parent(s) agrees the School is under no obligation to cancel, waive, or refund any portion of tuition that is owed or paid to KWCS.

King’s Way Tuition and Fees Collection Policy
- The success of King’s Way Christian Schools hinges upon the commitment of families to make private Christian education a financial priority, be involved in their child’s education, and make their tuition and fees payment(s) on a timely basis. The school relies upon tuition and fee payments to provide an excellent spiritual and educational program operating on a balanced budget. Therefore, when tuition and fee payments become delinquent, it can quickly become a serious matter.
The school understands that unexpected situations occur and the school strives to work with families in these circumstances. If unforeseen financial circumstances arise, families are responsible for contacting the Tuition Services Director as soon as possible to review the financial hardship and seek a mutually agreeable alternative tuition payment plan. It is important to communicate financial difficulties in a timely manner and in advance of a payment becoming past due.
When payments are not made in accordance with the tuition agreement, the following steps will take place:
10 days past due:
A late fee of $40 will be applied to the billing account.
30 days past due:
When an account becomes 30 days past due under the established tuition agreement, the financially responsible party will receive written notification from the Superintendent requesting that 1) past due balance is paid in full or 2) that they contact the school to create an alternative tuition payment plan.
• It is the responsibility of the family and/or financially responsible party to contact the school’s Tuition Services Director to bring the account up to date or to create an alternative tuition payment plan with the school.
• For those who are recipients of variable tuition, more than one late payment may result in the variable tuition award being reduced or revoked.
45 days past due:
When an account becomes 45 days past due, the Superintendent will issue the financially responsible party a written notice that their student(s) will be withdrawn from the school within 14 days of the date of the letter if:
• The past due balance is not paid in full; or
• An approved alternative tuition payment plan is not in place with the Tuition Services Director and/or not adhered to.
60 days past due:
When an account becomes 60 days past due, a certified letter will be sent to the responsible party stating their
student(s) has been withdrawn from KW and their account will be turned over to a collection agency.
- Further, a student will not be permitted to begin a new school year until all existing financial obligations have been satisfied. If a student’s account is not financially current during the continuous enrollment period for the following school year (i.e. February for the subsequent school year), they will not be able to enroll until the balance is brought current. If tuition, fees, and/or lunch accounts for the current school year are delinquent any time after June 1 without an existing payment plan in place, the continuous enrollment deposit collected will be forfeited, as well as the student’s placement on the class roster, for the upcoming school year.
- All tuition payments for the new school year begin in July. If the first payment is not received in July, the student’s enrollment will be canceled and their position on the class roster, as well as the continuous enrollment deposit, will be forfeited.
- The school encourages all responsible parties to maintain open communication with the Tuition Services Director to ensure a complete understanding of a family’s financial circumstances and have a sustainable partnership. The goal of the school is to provide a Christian school education to every student here at King’s Way. By working together, we can make sure this goal is met.
