Background:
I grew up in Vancouver, graduated from Prairie High School, went to Western Washington University for 3 years where I played on the Men’s Golf Team.  I then transferred to Washington State University, Vancouver where I graduated with my degree in Business Administration.  I started working as a financial advisor in 1999 for a large brokerage firm.  In 2004 I started my own firm which is now Sustainable Wealth Management.  I continue to serve clients as an Investment Consultant and I am also the President of the firm.
Family:
My wife Kristy and I have been married for 23 years (we met in high school).  We have three kids.  Aiden started at King’s Way in 7th grade and graduated from King’s Way in 2021 and will be a sophomore at George Fox University.  Isaac started at King’s Way in 6th grade and will be a senior next year.  Macie started at King’s Way in 3rd grade and will be in 8th grade next year.  We are members of Summit View Church Westside Campus.
Why I decided to serve:
The King’s Way Community is amazing. I just completed my fourth season as the Head Baseball Coach at King’s Way.  I also coached the Men’s Golf Team last season.  I was a board member from 2017-2019. The more I get involved in the community through board service, athletics, etc., the more I realize what a special place this is.  The staff, students and  families that make up the King’s Way community have been such a huge blessing to me and my family that it makes me excited to give back and serve howeer I can.

While there, Arne provided business and technology consulting services to client leaders to address their critical business processes and initiatives.  He brings over 25 years of experience serving clients in a variety of industries including high tech, manufacturing, utilities, transportation, financial services, health care, telecommunications, non-profits, and consumer products. He is a past chair of the Software Association of Oregon Board of Directors and is a certified Salesforce.com consultant.

What he appreciates most about King’s Way is that it’s an outstanding school that encourages a student in their walk with Christ, regardless of where a student is on their journey.

He enjoys serving on the Board because King’s Way is constantly in the process of becoming better than it was yesterday.
