Colby Davies, our head Varsity Football and Varsity Track coach and secondary PE teacher has been given a tremendous opportunity to coach college football at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. Davies has been at King’s Way Christian for the past two years and has been a positive addition to our community.

Colby says, “My time here at King’s Way has been a very memorable experience that has had a huge impact on my life. The care and love that the King’s Way Family and Community have shown my wife and I over the last 2 years have been nothing short of amazing. I will leave here knowing that this is a truly special place.

I’d like to thank the Administration for giving me the opportunity to teach and coach here at King’s Way Christian. The support I’ve received here is unlike anywhere else I’ve been. I’d like to thank every student and athlete that I had the pleasure of coaching and teaching. I will miss each and every one of you. The memories made while having the opportunity of coaching our Football and Track Teams will be cherished for a lifetime.

I’m excited about the journey that lies ahead of coaching College Football at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. I know that my experience at King’s Way has helped prepare me for this upcoming challenge.”

“Colby will be missed, his contributions are appreciated and I know God will bless him wherever he and his wife Missy go” says Ted Buck, King’s Way Christian’s Athletic Director.

The Athletic Department at King’s Way is actively receiving resumes of interest for the head Football coach position. The Summer Football program has temporarily been put on hold as football is only allowed 20 practice dates through July. This will allow the new coach to set up a practice schedule for the summer. We hope to have a choice of candidate in the next few days.
