King’s Way Christian Schools has a tradition of assisting families of students that hope to attend King’s Way. We have a desire to serve God by meeting needs within the community, equipping students to impact their culture. Financial aid awards are granted based on a student’s demonstration of need. Each family is responsible for Registration and all other school related costs.

Process & Timeline

  • Student must be registered for the upcoming school year by submitting an online student registration application.
  • The financial aid application fee is $45 (per family) and will be collected at the end of this application. This fee is non-refundable. 

Returning Students

  • Financial aid applications are due by April 30th.
  • You will be contacted via email or phone to schedule an interview with the Financial Aid Committee.
  • Financial aid interviews will be conducted last week of March and April.
  • Financial aid award determinations are made during the last week of April.
  • Award notification will be communicated via email by Monday, May 1st.
  • Award letter must be signed & returned by Monday, May 15th.
  • If the financial aid award is declined, the registration fee minus $50 per application will be refunded.

New Students

  • Financial Aid applications are due no later than April 30th.
  • You will be contacted via email or phone to schedule an interview with the Financial Aid Committee.
  • Financial aid interviews will be scheduled during April – August.
  • Financial aid award determinations are made during May – August.
  • Award notification will be communicated via email upon award determination.
  • Award agreement must be signed & returned within 14 days of award notification.
  • If the financial aid award is declined, the registration fee minus $50 per application will be refunded. 

Rules for Acceptance of Financial Aid

  • Academic: Student must maintain a minimum 2.3 GPA or equivalent (C+ average) and receive a passing grade (D or above) in all classes.
  • Attendance: Student cannot exceed 10 absences per semester.
  • Behavior: Student has no suspensions or multiple detentions.
  • Involvement: Student must maintain involvement in the King’s Way community through participation in co-curricular events such as missions, athletics, and/or other related activities that demonstrate commitment to King’s Way.
  • Financial: Parents/guardians are responsible for the non-financial aid tuition balance plus any school related fees such as athletic fees, childcare, school lunches, late fee’s, etc. All monthly tuition payments must be made on time.  More than one late payment may result in the financial aid award being reduced or revoked.
  • Volunteer: Parents/guardians, or their student, are required to volunteer between 20 and 100 hours of service to King’s Way, based on the financial aid award amount. The volunteer hour commitment will be outlined in the financial aid agreement letter, along with volunteer activities and opportunities.
