King's Way is an accredited K-12 Christian school that is a ministry of Vancouver First Church of God. We are a growing school with a staff of highly effective Christian individuals that demonstrate a determined commitment to the highest standards in Christian Education. Available Positions
King's Way is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2008-09 school year:
Middle School PE Instructor (half-time)
Teach physical education to middle school students, with an emphasis on life-long wellness. Teaching Certificate with endorsement in PE preferred, but not required.
Requirements
All positions require an ability to plan an educational program of daily study that meets spiritual and academic needs of students, integrating a Biblical worldview into teaching. Ability to create a classroom environment and learning materials that encourage student involvement and participation is also necessary.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline closely related to the subject to be taught. Any experience in the subject field will be considered. A valid state teaching certificate is required; however, all King's Way teachers are required to be certified by the State of Washington within 3 years of their King's Way start date.
Full time positions include salary and benefits.
